Garden Club
Founded 1926
Gibson Island Garden Club, P.O. Box 157, Gibson Island, MD 21056
The Gibson Island Garden Club was established in 1926, by Residents of the Island who wanted to share their enthusiasm and knowledge of gardening and protect and enhance the natural beauties of Gibson Island. Members continue this mission with the support of the Gibson Island Community. Besides planting and nurturing their own gardens, Members assist with maintaining several special gardens, woodlands, and wildlife habitats on the Island. Members also have the opportunity to participate in educational programs, numerous civic projects, field trips, and seminars.
The Garden Club meets the third Thursday of the month from March through November.
