The Gibson Island Historical Society was created in 1969 by a group of residents interested in preserving the artifacts and history of the island.
St. Christopher
St. Christopher by the Sea, established in 1923, is a welcoming, non-denominational chapel that has served the Island community for almost 90 years as a center for worship and spiritual growth. All are welcome, residents and visitors alike, at 10am Sunday services and other special seasonal services and social activities throughout the year. Come join us!
